Hey guys, I was wondering, a convertible boot, do they fit all 05-09 and are they easy to put on. I got a great deal on one from a local person who wants to sell it cheap, she has one she bought for her 06 from the dealer and said she never used it. I looked around on the net for instalation information. I'm supposed to meet her this week to try it out. Any thoughts how to put it on.

 

If the boot came off an 05-09 model it should fit. I hardly ever use mine unless I plan on leaving the top down for a while. It only takes a few minutes to put on. Their are little J type clips and straps that hold it down. You should be able to tell how it goes on just by looking at it.

 

Thanks for the info. My wife and me do alot of carshows with our club and have seen a few mustangs around with the boot thought it looked quite nice but I havent seen any under 200 till this one, im getting it for about 75$. Hope it works out thanks again for the info

 

$75 is a steal. Go for it. It my be a bit of a pain at first, but once you get used to it...it on goes easy.

 

After 2 or 3 times, you can do it in your sleep. The first time I put mine on, I thought it was really a pain, but it don't take long to figure out a few little tricks...

 

it's hard to remember how to get it on, as I don't do it very often. Only at car shows. It takes too long to bother putting it on everyday.
