Default Worst Smell Ever

Ok, got an 06' GT Convertible. In the last week, this sour smelling stench has started coming from my A/C vents. Cold, heat, vent or recirculate. Doesn't matter. My suspicion is condensation has soured from driving w/ the top down and A/C on. But with the 106 degree weather, it's hard not to. Has anybody had this issue and what in the world can I do to fix it?? It's awful. Checked engine btw, no dead animals.

My Explorer had a bad smell from the vents and it was the heater core going out. I tried radiator fix that you pour in the radiator, from a suggestion from my mechanic neighbor, and it worked. Awesome that it only cost $2.00. He said I could replace the core now or give this a try if it is a small leak.

Ok, tried running the car without the cowl filter installed and still got the smell. The filter does need replacing but it doesn't seem to be the cause of the smell. Any other suggestions?
