bleeding drop top motor cables
#3
thanks for the advice. I got the same suggestion from soneone else. he said because its transmission fluid the air breaks down inside, unlike brake fluid...or something like that.
anyway...all done. the top works! only thing is I have clamps holding in the rubber stoppers. How do I get those stoppers though the holes?

The rubber stoppers? There is only one I can think of. It is on the end of the hydraulic pump(conv. motor).
That can be reinstalled by taking a #2 Phillips screwdriver and slide it into the hole in the plug. After lining it up with the hole in the motor, slowly push it into the hole by pushing on the screwdriver.

i know its a old post , but to get the rubber mounts back in the holes , stick a dull ended rod into the hole of the rubber mount and use that to push it in the metal bracket. a screwdriver will work but you must be carefull not to poke it through the rubber .
