Default First Puddle in Driver's Footwell (2012)

Woke up this morning to a Flat Tire AND a Puddle in my Footwell! I tried to look for evidence of entry points and the only wet spots I can still see are on the door sill plate.

My vehicle was parked facing DOWNHILL, due to the trunk's faulty gutter design. WHICH MEANS any water leaking in would be at the highest point.

Which would be around here

It was mainly wet on the left side of the footwell, all the way up to the corner where the height adjustment lever is. The right side of the footwell closest to the gear selector is dry. I'm hoping it's just my own dumbass that didn't close my door all the way or the window, but it was raining really hard last night when I got home and I'm pretty sure I didn't drive with the window cracked.

I took a picture of my flat before I even opened my door, and I'm looking at it trying to see if I left the window cracked or door not closed all th eway, but I can't see any evidence of that.

I really hope this is a one time thing, like the window didn't seat into the rubber weather strips all the way or something.

Oh I'd be pissed, I don't know of any known leaks on the drivers side. Make sure you get all that moisture out quick or the entire car will start to smell like an old shower curtain.

Had a big storm last night and it happened again! I'm pretty damn sure my door was closed all the way and windows up. Entire freaking driver's footwell was a miniature pond! Looks like another issue to add to the list for the next service.
