How do I access RH lift mechanism?
Have 03 vert, and when top is being raised, the rh side starts up about 6 inches after left side starts raising, and remains lower past the fulcrum point, and then locks OK. Can I access the lift linkage by removing rear seat top and bottom; or does interior side panel also have to come off,or can I get to it from the trunk or what? Thanks for listening.

You definetly need to take out the bottom and backrest of the rear seat. Then, take off the side panel.
This will expose the hydraulic cylinder.
What are you thinking you will do when you expose the cylinder? Ford says that it's normal for the cylinders to raise at a different level.
As long as both sides come together so you can clamp it in front, I wouldn't worry about it.

I also have an 03 Vert and replaced both rams and lines due to a leaking ram. There is about a 4" difference in the way they raise and lower but by the time the top reaches the windshield, they are even. The supplyer of the new rams said they will take a little longer to raise and lower. For anyone interested, it takes around 12-13 seconds. I believe OEM is a little quicker.
