Default 2000 mustang

I just purchased this car 2 weeks ago and until today was having no problems. when i try to lower the top it goes real slow then slams down when halfway down. When i try to raise it it wont go up unless you have help. This is the first convertible i have had and was wondering what the fix might be to this situation. Thanks for any help

Sounds like its low on fluid. Might need to go back there and top it off. Think "Flexible".
