Hope this is the correct area for questions. I just bought a 2006 convertible that had been hardly driven with 13,500 miles on it and I have some questions about the stereo. It is a shaker 500 system. What does the accessory button do? Is there a port somewhere to plug in an iPod or cell phone to play music? I have looked but dont find anything.....thanks

I can't really answer your question as I have a Mach system, but it would seem reasonable that there is a way to connect an external device.

 

The 2006 should have two ports in the center console storage area - one 12v plug and a 1/8" headphone jack for the AUX input of the stereo - both should be right under the coin holding area:
