Default Window issue on V6 Convertible

Just bought a 2007 mustang convertible V6 and having minor issues. The passenger door window doesn't "short" drop enough to allow the door to close. I've already tried to calibrate the windows per the owners manual but it still doesn't work. I also noticed this may have been going on for a while since the soft top is beginning to fray. I've seen some comments about this on the forums but they are older and one even stated to "just deal with it".

Not sure I want to do that.

You'd have to replace the motor, I think the sensor is integrated in the motor. The sensor
has failed.
