I want to get a spoiler for my 95, but I just simply cant buy one and have it painted with the car's color code since naturally the paint on the car has faded over the years. So, I would need a shop to find out the exact color that's on the car as it is right now, and then put it on the spoiler. Anyone have any idea of how much this might cost? And is it even common for a shop to be able to do this or will I have a problem trying to find someplace that can do it?

 

there are computers that can match the same exact color but i heard even with a computerized match it will never look the same.

 

Yeah it will match 90% which is enough to trick the eye, painting a spoiler should be about $100-150 depending on the shop....

 

most body shops can match the paint color very close, you won't be able to tell the difference (except that the paint looks better). Even brand new cars have slightly different colors on them sometimes but you'd never notice unless you look hard.

 

have you looked in any junkyards in your area? they might have a spoiler in your cars collor which should match for the most part
