Default Tail lights

I'm trying to find some smoked tail lights for my 2001 mustang but can't find them any where, do they even produce them. I was thinking that I could tint the tailights, would that work or no. Any advice would help.

There is a company called X2C Motorsports that sells them for $229.00. I plan to get them for my stang. There website is www.x2cmotorsports.com, but everytime I go to there site it is always having problems. If you pick up the newest issue of MM&FF (May 2004 issue) they are advertised on page 118. You can also find their advertisement in older issues, but I'm not sure what page. If you don't need to see what they look like before you buy them you can just give them a call at 818-901-8000. Good luck.

Dude, dont screw up your taillights or spend a fortune on new ones just for the "smoked" look. You can always go to your local auto parts chain like Autozone, O'Rieleys etc. and buy a set of "blackouts" or headlight covers from GTS for about 40 bucks.

VHT makes a spray tint. I used it on my headlights and taillights of my Honda. Looked really good. Put a couple of coats on and cleared it so it wouldn't come off. If you don't clear it, you can wash it off with rubbing alchoal.

I found some pics of my honda with the tint. Just compare the rear to Own3d.... pic of his SI to see the differance.
