Rain damaged vinyl stripes
Hello all,
I have a performance white Mustang with some silver 3M vinyl racing stripes. The problem is they're covered in water spots. I spend hours and hours each week making sure the paint looks top-notch, but I can't seem to fix the spotty stripes. I've tried hard scrubbing, detailing spray, waxing... nothing. I searched the internet and didn't find much help. I searched the forum and found one thread with a couple of suggestions I haven't tried yet (Lime-A-Way solution...) Anybody have any other suggestions on what might get the spots out? If I can't fix them I think I'll have to pull them off and get some clean ones put on. They're driving me freakin' nuts!!

Someone sold you bad STRIPES, quality vinyl will respond to cleaning / waxing............. like paint / clearcoat finishes.
Look at the vinyl body parts of your car, they respond to washing / waxing / cleaning.......... don't they ??
