Well to start off, I live on dirt roads, I am using the NXT generation wax. I put the wax on, allow it to dry, and buff it off with a waffle weave cobra microfiber towel. But anyways, after it's all buffed and looking pretty, about 5 seconds of driving on the dirt roads, dust sticks to it like crazy and you can see exactly where the wax was buffed off. I'm assuming that this is normal, after I wax it maybe I should give it a good wash to avoid this???

i love the california duster too, comes in handy for pollen. but i think i know what you are talking about. after you wax it and buff it out it is still sorta cloudy. NXT does that to me on dark cars. it is just a little bit of the residue still left on the car. it should all be gone and leave you with a great finish after you wash it again, the dust will still stick, but the buffing marks wont. You can find that california duster for about $15 anywhere, and i have had mine for abour 3 years and still love it. i keep it in my trunk and use it about everywhere i stop.

What you are seeing is the result of residual staic in the finish from wiping it down It has happened to me with Zaino and Wolfgang as well. A washing will get rid of that dust attraction.

Awesome, thanks guys, I got bored tonight and decided to throw on a layer of NXT gen. wax (haven't done it in a while) and it looks great, I'll have to wash it after work again tomorrow.
