Default Wheel Question

Hey guys I have a new 06 and I was looking to put some 17' wheels on it. I wanted to know if you guys would recommend staggering them (17x8.5 front and 17x9.5 rear or anything like that) or getting all the same size. I have a V6 and correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe they come stock with 16s, which would mean I would need new tires right? With those wheel sizes what tires would be best? As you can see I'm still very much a newbie when it comes to cars but I want to learn as much as I can, so any feedback/replies would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Theres nothing wrong with having different sizes, only drawback is that you wouldnt be able to rotate your tires. As for sizes, I believe 245/45/17 is the stock size, which would be fine for the front but as for the rear Id go with a 275/40/17. And if you do go with those make sure you get the best rain tires that you can afford, thatll be money well spent on safety.

Does it come stock with staggered wheels? If not, would it just be better to get all the same size? I wasn't sure if they came staggered, which is why I asked up top. I don't really have a preference, just what would be best for the car. So if all the wheels are the same size stock then I will go with that instead of staggering. Thanks for the reply

The factory wheels are the same size all the way around. I believe theyre 17x7.5. 245/45/17 is a good size tire to get, its common so tires wont be astronmically expensive. As for tires, it all comes down to personal preferance. Just make sure they have excellent rain traction because the wider tires you have the easier it is to lose control on slippery surfaces.
