Dash/trim kit
See this. It looks pretty good in the pictures, I wonder how well it holds up. Has anyone tried them? For the price, it may be worth trying out, $20 plus shipping isn't a lot to gamble with.
I haven't ever tried it, but I've worked on vehicles that has those installed. Just make sure you are a perfectionist about it and line everything up really well. They look like crap if they're crooked. Are those basically vinyl stickers? For the price, makes me wonder about durability, but you don't have much to lose. Plus if it's vinyl, it's easy to clean. I don't see any future probs with how your interior will be underneath, if you ever deceided to take them off. (just my $.02)
I don't reccomend that...
It may look OK when installed, but you will NEVER be able to get rid of the "sticker" look of it IMHO...I think you should either paint the parts by hand (there is a tutorial on MustangWorld.com for this, it's inexpensive and very simple), buy new pieces (there are many kits available on eBay which replace the stock parts for a more "factory" look) or else buy more solid layovers (also available on eBay and some suppliers).
Just my opinion, if you want to do that, go for it. You're right, $20.00 isn't bad and it may actually turn out looking good.
