Fox bodies are notorious for flexing, and my car is in pretty good shape, but my doors dont line up just right. They close and latch just fine, but the right side rattles on the road, and neither one lines up at the top of the door. I have looked at the locking mechanisms, and there seems to be no way to adjust them. Any ideas? I am getting ready to paint and I want everything to line up and be slick.

You shoudl start by replacing the doo rpins and the striker bushing. That will help a little bit. Once you have that done if it still doesnt line up, remove teh fender and losen the 6 bolts on the hinges on the body. Then have someone pick up on the door (a jack will do it also but you can't tell your gaps) then when you have it where you want tighten the bolts back down and then readjust your striker to make sure it latches eaily and properly.

if you loosen the bolts that hold the hinges to the frame u can move the door around
