Default Help with stuck wax

My paint is going to crap, so I used some special oxidyzing wax? that brings out the original paint. Guess I was being careless and some of it got into the moldings around my windows, it's white and its almost like embedded into the mouldings. I can't get it out and was wondering if anyone could give some advice getting it out.

Thanks.

***It's also in my black molding piece that wraps around the body.

As dumb as this may sound - a pencil eraser! I usually will get small sling of wax on my trim and such. It comes right off. Also, try Mr. Clean's Magic Eraser! It works as well.

If you're talking about wax in between cracks anywhere on a car, use a soft toothbrush. If your talking about wax embedded into the matte-like finish of the molding itself, I haven't figured that out yet, but I will be checking this thread for advice.

It seems like there is about 1 or 2 places on any car that wax does not work, and the plastic around my door windows is that place. I waxed them thinking it was the same as the sideview mirror plastic, but it is not, and now they are washed out looking and everytime I wax, I accidently get more on them. Ive thought about trying silicone tire gel on them.

This may sound crazy. If you have wax on your moulding and it won't come off...spread peanut butter on it. It works!
