Default Painting?

Well I got a 93 lx and I want to make a cobra clone(I got all the body parts). I'm looking for someone in here that knows something about body work? I can paint, I got the shop to do it in. I need to know the best paint to use and a few steps.

Thanks
sally

There are several brands of paint you can use. PPG is widely used, and is a quality paint. What steps are you wanting to know about? Cant help you with body work.

Well I painted the car back in 94 and I want to go back to stock color. Should I sand it down to metal or the primer? Should I take the doors off to paint the door jams? Also I'm going to put 315 in the back, is there a flare kit for the rear fenders?

Thanks
sally

only thing i can answer is that you should be fine just sanding it down to the primer. Thats what I did and it turned out great. Taking the doors off would probably be a good idea
