Hi everyone - I have had my Torch Red GT for alittle over 1 week now. I have noticed that there is a cloudy spot toward the front of the hood. My guess is that it is in the clearcoat. The paint looks fine. I have put a couple of coats of wax over that area (meguiars) and it is still there, though not as bad. I'm probably the only one that will ever know it's there because you really have to look, and it's only noticeable at certain angles and in certain lighting. Any other suggestions of what to try? I really don't want a body shop messing with a brand new car!

If its new and still under warenty, bring it back to the dealer and have them fix it, I would assume that is a factory defect.
