Yellow specs in white paint

Yellow specs in white paint
Has anyone ever seen little yellow specs on their white mustangs that do not go away with normal washing. A friend on mine just bought a white 2006 Mustang GT in July and had this problem. He took it back to the dealers. The dealer proceeded to acid wash the car and then wax it. He said it took care of the problem. Said it had something to do with oxidation. I just got my white 2006 mustang GT the end of Aug and I see the same issue. I'm concerned about acid washing the car. Wouldn't that cause longer term paint damage? Shouldn't just waxing the car clear the yellow specs? I can tell when I wash my car it is in need of a good wax job. I just wanted to wait until I get my stripes installed.
Any insite would be appreciated.

The yellow specs look like deposits on top of the clear coat. I tested it and car polish will clean it off. As for my friend, not sure. As for the acid wash; ever heard of such a thing?

Sounds like pollen globs dropped from bees and other flying things.
Use an instant detailer before they get stuck... keep a bottle and some microfibers in the car.
Frequent washing, and the use of a clay bar twice a year and frequent waxing will help.

The specs you are probably seeing is railroad dust. You usually see that with new cars. It is very tiny pieces of steel that actually rust. Just go get a claybar and it will all come off. I deal with this all the time when people bring me their new cars.
