I was wondering if this push to start button is good?...

and could someone tell me how to wire it?? i was going to take out the cigar lighter and put the button in there (in front of the shifter)....im not sure how to wire it to the ignition.

you would still have to have the key. in the ignition, you just dont have to turn it. our keys have an electronic chip thing in em and the car wont start w/o it. so you would still have to have a key. looks kinda cool to me. a guy put one from somewhere else in his 05 a while back. looked really cool in the 05.

 

For $4 that looks like a sweet mod. I'd also be interested in how to wire one of these. Also, did you see the shipping on that thing?! eBay has a policy against that. If you are really thinking about buying one, read this first and click "Report" near the bottom to do something about it.
