Ok, buddy of mine has the original 17" rims and 275 tires from his 03 Cobra just collecting dust. Will they fit my 02 GT??

since the stock GT rims are 17" also i would guess that it would make 0 difference.

It should make little or no difference on the speedo. But, it depends on the sidewall diameter aka the 2nd number on the tire.

the cobra rims are 17X9 while your gt's are 17X8, so other than the fact that the tire will be a little wider, youll be fine.
