Default Domelight

Hi does anyone know how to remove the domelight cover from a 98 mustang and how to remove the light covers on the back above the license plate? thanks!

Are you trying to change the bulbs? i put new bulbs in mine for a little while and it was pretty easy to do, but I have a 2001 so im not sure if it is the same. I just pulled the plastic part off with my hands and a screwdriver(domelight) and i think the licence plate lights come off with 2 screws but i could be wrong.

Hmmm, paint thinner or nail polish remover maybe? If that does not work im sure your local ford dealership could get you a new one for like $5.

You'll have to get a new dome light lens. If some gay painted it, the only thing that'll take it off will be formby's furniture refinisher, but it'll melt the plastic. I'd bet that you could get a new one at the dealer for like $10 or so. Save yourself the aggrivation.
