Follow my sticky at the top. It will be a while till I finish it but I plan on putting as much detail in th earticle as possible. I will be covering sanding and body work in the next few days.

I work at my buddy's body shop during the summer and they always use 220 grit to sand the filler. Once they apply the primer, they wet sand it with 400 grit "wetodry" sand paper. After that, they prime it again and wet sand it again. During the wet sanding process, they like to use a little bit of comet cleaner to help "cut" the surface and reduce sanding time. The main thing is to be patient and I can't stress that enough.

So they wet sand filler and filler primer. I always dry sand filler and filler primer because filler will absorb water, anything I can do to reduce the amount of moisture in my paint job I think is a good thing.

No, they dry sand the filler, then they prime it. Then, they wet sand the primer.
