What do i do to remove swirls?

what compound do i need and do i have to use a buffer to remove the little scratches in the clear coat, there not really swirls just little scratches. any info or help on this would be great, thanks.

If there scratches/swirls aren't too bad you can do it by hand. It will take a while. It is a good investment to get a Porter Cable. It is very popular on all the detail forums. I would use a light abbrasive polish/swirl remover. I recommend Poorboys SSR1 or Optimum Pollish. They both finish out really well and leave an awesome finish on the paint.
