Default Slight Scratches Help

I just finished applying zaino polish/sealer to my car. I noticed that I have a few light scratches in my clear coat on my trunklid. They are only noticable at certain angles, but not most of the time. What can I do to get rid/hide them?

Do you have any pictures of the scratches? The best thing to do would be to remove them and not hide them. I would use a light abbrasive polish if the scratches aren't too bad. If they aren't too bad you might be able to remove them by hand but most scratches require the use of a high speed polisher to remove the defects.

The scratches are so slight that they wont really show up in a picture. They are only visible at some angles, but not most.

It sounds like you can probably get them out by hand with a light abbrasive polish. A glaze will also help with filling them in too, if you wanted to go that route.

What products do you recommend?

I would recommend using the Poorboy's SSR1 or the Optimum polish. They will both remove those scratches and bring out an awesome shine and reflection. On you color car I would use Clearkote Vanilla Moose hand glaze. That helps with spiderwebbing and fine scratches and also makes the paint look wet! If you get a chance, check out Autopia.com forums. All of the products I carry are used by many professional detailers on that forum.

Edit...If you are going to be using the product by hand I would go with the SSR1.
