Default Window cleaning ?

I just got a new Mustang and need advice on cleaning the exterior windows. The windows seem to have what looks like overspray on them. Whatever it is, it won't come off with the usual Windex, etc. Any advice on how to clean them?
Thanks

I used a solution of vinegar and ammonia to clean mine. If that doesn't work, you can try a clay bar remove the overspray. A Plastic razor blade may work as well.

Mineral Spirits ONLY on the window should remove the overspray - then clean with a streak free window cleaner such as Stoners

A claybar should work fine. Then follow up with a good window cleaner. I use nothing but Stoner Invisible Glass.

Here's a followup to my initial post. I tried clay bar, Stoners, vinegar and water solution and nothing would remove whatever is on my windows.

I was at an RV store and purchased a product called AMAZ. It's a creamy paste wax type of stuff. Apply it like wax and wipe it off. Works fantastic !!! Removed every speck of the overspray, industrial fallout, or whatever it was.

You didn't try the Mineral Spirits did you [8D]

Nice find though, probably a little safer than a thinner considering you're working around a painted surface. Good info to know for future reference. How much is this AMAZ stuff [&:]
