Optimum No Rinse Wash
Jeff I'm glad that you are happy with everything. You should post some pictures of your stang. I think your dad will really like the products. They are very simple to use and produce awesome results.
I just ordered the Optimum Car Wax Spray, Poorboy's Leather Stuff & the Optimum No Rinse from Juztang. Thanks for the super-fast delivery. I hope I can use them this weekend. I don't have a garage or anything so I'll have to do it outside. What is the minimum temperature I should wait for? Also, since this is the first nice car I've ever had to care for, I'm unfamiliar with some of the lingo. What is a clay bar lube. The No Rinse tells you how to make it but not how to use it. (I'm sure everyone else already knows what it is) Also, how do you use it as a quick detailer? Lastly, I live in Iowa where there is always a lot of salt on the roads. Will this Spray wax protect against the salt etc. as well as a regular wax? Thanks

Everything Tim said is correct. I actually use the No Rinse no matter how cold it is but I pull the car into the garage to do it. What I do is get a bucket and fill it with about 2 gallons of warm water and another bucket with warm water as your rinse water. I have heard of people on the detail forums using mittens and putting rubber gloves over them in the winter. This way your hands won't get cold. Also you can use this wax in any temperature. There have been many people on the Autopia.com detail forums use the Optimum Spray Wax in the winter and temperatures close to 0. I can't imagine doing this but I have read about people using it and working!
A claybar will take all the contaminants out of the paint and make it silky smooth. A way to tell if your paint needs clayed is after you wash it... take a ziplock baggy or similar and put your hand in it and rub it over the paint. If the paint doesn't feel smooth and it feels kinda rough it needs clayed.
You can use the quick detailer for when your vehicles is barely dirty or dusty to get the car clean again.
