Default wheel spacer ??

ok. i drive a '92 GT. right now im still rolling on the stock 16" pony wheels(5-spoke). i bought a set of '93 cobra wheels. i was looking 'em up on ebay, and there was a set that said it came with the 4 wheels, with tires, and the spacers for the rear....what spacers ?? do i need 'em to mount them on my car, or do you think they just had a spacer to make the rear a little wider ?? ive never heard of needing a spacer....thanks for any help.

spacers will keep the wheels from rubbing....i don't know enough to say that you need them, but on my s10 i used them to fit wheels with more backspacing

Some people think spacer are terrible on the studs. I think there cool unless there so wide they have to relocate the studs.

some people even use them to get a better stance(look). to push the wheel out more and make it look more aggressive. i have skinnies and HAVE to use them or they wouldn't turn at all. they sit right on the caliper without it. i am not sure about your year car and those rims, but you might want to ask around some more just to make sure you don't need them.

Dont use the cheap one's. get good ones if thats your only choice. There like a little over 100.00. If you use the cheap one like for 20.00 or less there crap unless you need less then 7/16 thick. Any thicker and you will need longer wheel studs.
