convertable top cleaner

hey, i have a convertable and its a white top, so it gets dirty pretty quickly. i was wondering does anyone know a good top cleaner. also could you tell me how much it costs thanks

i use the mothers cleaner for my tan vinyl top.</P>


it gets the thumbs up</P>

very diluted bleach.....it won't let the mold accumulate, then get a vinyl cleaner and put it over........twice.....you'll be set for a loooong time.

true, since it is white you could use a very small amount of bleach mixed witha LOt of water. then use the mothers. </P>


mine is tan, so i wouldnt use bleach on that<IMG src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0"></P>

you use bleach on the tan?</P>


mine has a circular spot on it... looks like someone tried using some sort of cleaner on it... ill get a pic up of it.</P>

yep.......like i said....not alot.....diluted.........very diluted.....it's great to get that little moldy stuff off, then you clean it with vinyl stuff, let it dry and hit it with the vinyl stuff again.</P>


I bought the car in early 2002, then that little moldy stuff happened...I tried alot of stuff, but it kept coming back, so my GF said...."OK, that's it, we're selling the car"....that's when I got desperate and tried the bleach.....hahahaha....anything but sell the stang....</P>


oh....finally in late 2002 after I did that....that moldy stuff hasnt come back. -- </P><edited><editID>WhiteHawk</editID><editDate>37819.6315162037</editDate></edited>
