Kind of a crappy picture, but when I bought the car I noticed I had a little tiny white glob of something on my tail light. It looks like house paint or some crap, I've been avoiding removing it because I'm afriad to scratch up the plastic on the light if I try to scrape it off. Any advice in removal?

 

I would just try scratching it off. It doesnt look very big, and any scratches on the plastic probably wouldn't be noticable.

 

+1..... I noticed the same little dots on my ranger. I found them on the taillights, headlights, and mirrors. Must of been something they did when it was built. Why did they put the dots there? IDK. Scratch off as much as you can then use a cleaner wax to remove whatever may be left, if anything. Worked for me.....

 

maybe nail polish remover!!

 

Acetone-based nail polish removers can damage some plastics... so I'd recommend against that.

 

go to home depot and buy some goo off, i tihkn that's what it's called, it pretty much removes anything including globs of paint, pretty sure it's safe on plastic too. i'd soften in with that and try scratching it off with your finger. dont use paint remover lol that will fog your lens and/or melt your plastic
