Scratch X is a very light polish, about the same as Megs #80 speed glaze which should also be available at your local auto store.
MIRROR GLAZE FINE-CUT CLEANER #2 would be the next step up as far as a more aggressive product.

BTW - some folks go as far as to carry a small spray bottle with water and some clean MF's in their car.
If you get a bird dropping on the car, shield the surrounding area with the MF and "Blast" thedroppings with the water from the spray bottle. Lift the droppings, trying not to wipe it in. I know - it sounds easier than it really is.

i used it once. had a rust stain on my door that driped down from the bolts on the door handle. it really pissed me off cuz my paint was only 2 years old and i couldnt get it off with anything. scratch xis useless for scratches but it works amazing on taking rust out of paint i gotta tell ya, or even to give your car some shine without putting the effort of waxing.

 

Paint doesn't rust, I don't quite understand what you are saying 5.flow

 

It's a rust drip stain. Water continuslly dripping off a bolt created a stain on his paint.

 

yeah that's what i ment and that's the only product i could get to take it off
