I'm currently fixing a front end for a friend of mine's mother. Its a 96 V6 Convertible (with the roll bar)

I tried looking in the door jam for the paint code, but all i saw was "BAC" underthe "Ext" listing.

It is a red color. If anyone knows where I can find an online list of the paint codes for the 96 mustang convertible V6, I would greatly apprecciate it. Hopefully I can narrow down my search.

Usually where the spare tire is (trunk), under the carpeting there is a compressed carcboard/plywood covering. On there there are tires PSI ratings as well as paint codes (at least on GM's).

If not, go to a body shop (reputable) with a paint mixing station. They have either a computerized or micro print of pretty much ever stock color code.

Actually, I finished up the bondo and sanding today and got a few cans Of "Dupli" Color for O'reillys'.

Sanded up the front end, cleaned it off with lighter fluid, tossed on the primer and the paint matched GREAT.

All i have to do tomorrow is wetsand and clearcoat it.

I suppose I'll post pictures If anyone would be interested ?

Also, Because the car is a convertible, there is supposed to be some knid of a cover or panel that goes over the actual tarp when it is down. Does anyone know of a company that makes Poly or Fiberglass replacement panels ? Painted or Unpainted ? I imagine it would be cheaper than going the OEM route.

thanks.
