i am having a hard time finding a accesories from my 86 5.0 gt like body kit, aftermarket lights ect... does any one know of a place that sell this stuff?

I have an '86 too. from what Ive been told, there are no bodykits for an '86, unless you make some sort of one off kit or extensivly modify another one to fit.

you can find hoods and wings though.

 

can't you turn it into an 88+ by buying the front clip, fenders, hood, headlight panel, ect.....Then you could get a body kits from www.mrbodykit.com. I guess it all depends on how much money you want to spend on the car.

If you are looking for original parts you can still find most of it (including the GT nose piece) on Late Model Resorations site (the 50resto site linked above). If you are looking for aftermarket you should be able to find something on Mr Bodykit. The car is the same from 79-93 so they are all interchangeable. You may have to do some modding on the moldings and such, but the nose clips, rear clips, side skirts, spoilers etc... are all interchangeable.

You can now get Saleen body kits from Saleen's Aftermarket store. Also as mentioned above I REALLY like the look of the '82 GT airdamn on the 85-86 GT's with the open grill.
