Wow... what a job... but well worth the effort. I bought my daughter a 95 convertible a few months ago, the top was kinda ragged. So I ordered a top and rear defrost window kit.

Saturday morning a friend of mine and I removed the old one and by Saturday night had the new 75% installed. Neither of us had ever done one before, but I have always tackled all my own work. Sunday I finished it myself.

I did buy one of those install cd's found on EBAY, it really helped, but the directions did not cover the rear window. But we just installed the new one in the reverse steps of removing the old one. Well it turned out great!

That's cool. I am thinking of putting a new top on mine because it has 2 small spots where the top folds when put down and theblack has started to chip off.....

A lot of people here on the forum have convertibles and need new tops for the cars. You mentioned a cd. What's the title and where did you find it? Where did you order the top from?

I think a lot of money could be made if someone would make a video of how to do a repair job for a mustang convertible.
