I hope you guys can answer this question. I have a paint chip on my door that occured when I removed the ugly door protector strip. I even heated it up, but still I have a nickle sized chip. Do I have to get the whole door painted? I heard that they can touch the area up & blend it into the old paint? God I hope so.

 

It is possible to touch up by a body shop and blend but it still might not be perfect. Ask the body shop if it is cheaper to do the whole door or not and go from there. Make sure they are reputable and have references on request. Check with the BBB as well.
