I have a minor problem with my 3rd brake light. It looks scorched and it doesn't have that glare anymore. Its covered with white scratches by the sun. What can I do to get my 3rd brake light to look like new? I heard wet sanding would do the trick... But how do I go on about wet sanding? Are there neccessary steps that I have to take?

 

take it to the bodyshop thats what i did looks beautiful now !!!

 

You could try Meguiar's Plastic-X or Mother's Plastic Power Polish. I personally use 3M's Plastic Polish and Cleaner.

 

I used the plastic X. While it's taken care of the white scratches.. I still don't that glare/glaze look...
