My air compressor came with a paint sprayer, I am interested in learning how to paint automotive stuff (my hood for example) any links to getting started and learning the basics as well as what paint to get?

Don't try painting big peices that are noticable on your car. Painting takes ALOT of practice and your first 5-10 projects won't look very good. I would recommend getting old parts and practicing. There are magazines that can help you but you only get better with practice.
