Default I'm crying!!!

I'm so upset.. I took the side door protector moulding things off my car today. The passenger side worked great. I put some polish and wax down afterwards an you can't tell it was ever there, beautiful.

The driver's side.... different story! It looks like crap. I used rubbing compound, scratch remover... nothing is going to help this. It actually looks like the door was resprayed with the door moulding on. ther isa ridge of what looks like clear coat and the color is slightly lighter where the moulding was. I knew I should have just left those ugly things on!!!

use wd40 to get the stuff off, I took mine off last month, used wd40 to get the crap off. It came off, just use it sparingly.

I did, I used goo gone, wd-40, 3m adhesive remover. But the problem seems more likethe doorwas re-painted and they just painted over the moulding. So when I took the moulding off, there is"extra" clear coat. You can feel it. I used my fingernail and a tiny piece flaked and it definantly looks like clearcoat. I'm going to take it to a proffessional detail place and see what they say. The way my luck is... I'll have to get the door sanded and repainted.

+1, if it's overspray it should help pull it off.
