do ur foglights really do anything?
Yep, they do something. They make it hard for oncoming cars to see. In some states they will pull you over for running you fog lights. For the most part stock ones don't do much.
Maybe if somehow you have them aimed wrong they would hurt other drivers. They never bothered me before. Get some good bulbs..maybe that will make you guys see a diffrence. Also check it out on a real dark road. To me the more light power the better.
Almost forgot...yes they do look Pimp!!

They are for the very side of the road and for about 10 feet in front of you. and yes they can hurt you eyes. Its to much light. I don't have them on my 66, but I do have them on my Xterra and they don't do nothing. I was thinking about putting blue lights in them or maybe red.
The only time I actually notice they are doing something is when it's raining and they allow me to see the lines on the road a little better, other than that, they just make the car look pissed off, and I like it....
I notice a difference in fog mostly. The reason is because they are mounted lower than your headlights which helps you see "under" the fog.
It's the same principal why highbeams are useless in fog and your low beams are a little better....they're aimed lower.
Fog lights are aimed even lower and helps even more during the fog.
HORSESHOE, the reason why you can't notices a difference on you xterra is because the fogs lights are positioned higher because the vehical is higher....make sense?
