I'm recieving my silver 05 mustang gt at the end of march and was wondering if you all think red shelby stripes would look good, because i don't like the look of the racing sripes (too narrow) and i'd get black stripes but one of my friends has a Z28 thats silver and has black rims and black stripes down the side (looks badass but i want to stand out and be different from him). Cool camaro though, and it runs lows 13's to high 12's. Red shelby stripes with some 18" chrome wheels or black shelby stripes with 18" black rims?

 

Racing stripes actually come in several sizes. Shelby stripes are 10" racing stripes. You can get them here:

i think with the new body style the 18's look a little too small...i would go with 19's...i have seen a few pics of both but the 19's look a lot better

You're right, 19s look great. I was just worried about losing performance because my dealership has 2 05's with window tint, racing stripes and 20" TSWs and they look nice but look too much show and not enough go.

 

I think you should go with the black on silver. Red would be different, but I think it would look better with black. And like someone else said, you can get different widths on the stripes for really cheap on Ebay-- it's the same material that the expensive stripes are made out of. And go with the 19s on the wheels... I've seen both and the 19s just look better with the body.

Yeah, hmm....black does sound good and now that i look at the pics on that site, i'm looking at blue or white now too.
