for someone to wash, clay buff, and wax its probably about 2-300 dollars

it depends on where you want it done and what you want them to do with the buffer, you can buy a porter cable and some products and do it yourself. with the PC is easy and safe, eventually you could even start doing other people's cars and making money with it.

About 2 weeks ago I had the exterior of my car professionally done. 6 hours later= $275
That included wash, Menzerna SIP-rotary buffer, Menzerna 106FF PC orbital polisher , and then waxed with Pinnacle Souveran and a coat of Optimum Opti-Seal. The car came out great. Plus it was great to watch a pro at work and ask questions. I saved a little money clayying the car myself. I also did the interior and engine bay.

To have apro do it can be expensive. I have a really good detail shop not far from me with a do it youself wash next door. After cleaning my car at the do it your self side I would go over and talk to the detail guys and ask a lot of questions. soon I just went and bought my own buffer and now I do it my self.
