Default After my Accident

Well I posted a couple of weeks ago my car got into an accident and displayed pictures of the passneger side of my vehicle which got wrecked.

Well now I finally went ahead and went through my insurance becaus ethe other insurance comapny was giving me and the wife the run around[:@]. So I figured let my insurance company deal with it. What the hell! Right? Why not? I mean it's what they are there for anyway. There going to want their money back and we of course want our detuctible back too. So now in their hans so be it.

Anyway I took my car to a place a few miles away, after going to about 5 other collision centers for quotes and they were all around the same price $2300 to 2900(except my insurance which quoted $1000 less than all the others[&:]). The ones that proposed more bondo I quickly discarded and the one that offered the rim and door skin kept on the list. So anyway I went to the dealership (John F. Kennedy Auto)I got my car at and they told me that they have a collision center aka JFK Collision. I went there got a quote for $2600+ and they added a door skin and a new rim, plus they said they get there pars directly from Ford. So I made a decision and picked JFK Collision and here were the resullts I got back (scroll below first 2 pics)...

some other collision companies were going to just bondo it and call it a day. Not this JFK Collision I went to. They took real good care of it and I let them know that. My car isn't the best out there, but I take good care of it and I know every nick and cranny of it and I let them know that. I also sent them a picture of my car of how it looked before the accident.

And they posted that pic right up on their board as they worked on it.

So if, like I said before, you get into an accident (God forbid) first of all get like between 5 and 7 quotes and then take it to a collison shop that will get parts directly from Ford. That is your best bet. Make sure to also tell them that you know your car inside and out, and that you will refuse to take it off their property if you aren't satisfied with it. Once you take it off, any problems and they'll just turn around and say "I didn't do that!"
