Paint Chips..
Any hints on how to deal with metallic paint? When I try to fix my Satin Silver, you can see the little dot of paint a mile away. I am too scared to sand anything. Would it look better if I sand it?
I even called a body shop to ask them to fix a rock chip (they told me to do it myself - lol).

Unless you can spray it, there will always be a little dot, but a little dot is better than a chip with wax caked in it.
SVTBill bugged me one night to tell everyone that you have to be careful sanding, as itll leave sanding marks. It'll look like someone used a cheap paint brush wherever the sand paper hit. You can use a sanding block, go in one direction and the best bet is to have a buffer.
It took me 4-5 passes of SSR2.5 to remove the little sanding marks I had. The spots are nearly impossible to pick out on my car too.
