Car Cover?
I have a 94 Mustang GT that is in mint condition - always been garaged - never winter driven etc.
I have to move the car out of my normal garage to a covered area (semi garage) that is not subject to rain (unless in a the event of a severe thunderstorm) and gets some sunlight on the passenger door 2 hours a day.My main concern about thelocation is dust as it is close to the road and since there is no actual garage door dust enters and I have to wash my car weekly in this situation.
I have to leave the car for 5 months and will not have acess to it during this time period so to keep it dust free I went on google to find myself a cover but it seems to be a bigger desision than I thought.
Would I be ok with an under $30 cover found on ebay such as this (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...47113&rd=1)? I guess im concerned that if some rain or moisture does get in there I will not have acess to the car and wont know what will happen. I am also concerned about a cheap cover scratching my car. The $30 dollar type covers claim that they are breathable and dont scratch but im am unsure as there are some brands like covercraft selling $300+ covers.
Can anyone recommend a good cover or tell me what the difference between a $30 and $300 cover is?
Thanks
Mike

Remember the saying - you get what you pay for?. I wouldn't trust a $30 cover on something I valued.
I prefer California Car Covers. I have one for the '65 and it fits like a glove.

Thanks for the input guys
Im wondering which type of cover you guys use.
I have it narrowed down to the softweave plushweave or stormweave but am unsure of which I should go for.
If the plushweave is as breathable as the softweave I would go for that. The stormweave also seems like a good all around cover but im not sure why its priced the same as the plushweave.

If you've got it narrowed down to those, go with the stormweave. Since you're going to be leaving it outdoors, the extra protection would be a no brainer for me. Later down the road, when you move it back indoors, it would work fine inside too.
I ordered a NOAH cover from cal car covers a week or so ago, it's supposed to arrive wednesday, we'll see how good it fits then I guess.

I have the Noah material from California Car Cover on both my cars and absolutely love it. It providesdecent bump/nick protection, provides weather protection should I need to park outside at a weekend long show, and provides great dust protection in the garage.
I have one on mine and its garaged all the time and they have great car covers! I have the Evolution custom fit cover on an 06GT
