Default When to remove wax?

When removing an everyday wax, specificly the meguirs gold class, how do you know when to remove it? I think i keep doing it too soon. Do you actually wait until its a complete white haze? Or do you just give it 5 minutes and remove it?

Are you using a paste or a liquid? If it's the paste, which I think it is, then you don't really need to let it haze. If it says on the container to let it haze, then do 2 panels at a time, by the time you get done with the second panal you can wipe off the first panel.

For many over-the-counter products, this trick seems to work for me... let it haze a few minutes, and then with one finger, lightly make a short swipe -- if it removes cleanly, you're set; if not, let it set a few more minutes and test again.

It is not the paste, Its the liquid.

In the directions it says to do the entire car and then remove..... I dont like to though to ensure i do not miss a spot.

It says nothing about hazing but that is always what i have heard...

If you are going to put it on the entire car and remove make sure you put it on thin, if you put it on too thick it will be a lot harder to come off.

Having used Gold Class, I would do a panel or two at a time only. Once it sits for a few minutes I always had a hard time removing it, regardless if I put it on heavy or not.

Ahhh, Opti-Seal is a gift from heaven. So glad I don't put up with that BS anymore.
