Hood scratch
Where can I start oh yeah im pissed I woke up today and went to my car and to my suprise found a couple of scratches on the hood Crap!.
The scratches are not visible when you see it at a angle but when your overhead you can see them white scratches. Does anybody know if there is a way to buff this out or anyway to fix it

Better than waking up in the morning, going to check on your baby and finding several *** shaped dents in the hood. Thats when you know your not going to A.Get stoned again around your baby and B.Not let bi*ches sit on the f*cking hood anymore WHILE your stoned.
Someone in the parking garage decided to "toss" her purse on the car while she was getting things out of her car. Of course, she couldn't place it on her POS, and had to toss it on my hood, and then drag it off instead of having at least some courtesy to pick it up. Resulted it two 3" long and 2" wide scratches.
With a little bit of rubbing compound, wax and polish it came right out.

If you can feel the scratches with your fingernail wax or polish by hand won't help. you need to sand the scratch with some 2000 git wet or dry sandpaper. Soak the paper in water - easy on the sanding as you may sand through the clearcoat. take a couple quick passes over it and see what it looks like. if it looks to be gone, then go ahead and buff the surface with some rubbing compound and an orbital buffer; not a cheesy random orbital WAXER; and actual buffer. Then go back over it with a polish to remove the swirls. any questions send 'em my way.
