water spots
A black car is very hard to keep up, but when kept up it will look awesome!
For black car owners I always recommend the 2 bucket method for washing. Use 1 bucket for your rinse water and another bucket for your solution. Each time you wash a panel wring the mitt out in your rinse bucket to get all of the excess dirt out before you put it into your solution bucket. This will greatly reduce and leftover dirt or debris. Also make sure you are drying with a high quality microfiber, this will also reduce the chances of creating swirls. Inproper washing is the biggest cause of swirls.
You should look into Optimum No Rinse for washing. This way you won't get any waterspots since you washing one panel and drying it right away, plus you don't have to worry about water dripping out of all of the crevices. The No Rinse gives a just waxed look.
To get rid of your swirls an abrassive polish will be needed. I highly recommend investing in a Porter Cable polisher, you can correct your swirls and take your paint to a whole new level without having to worrying about burning it up. The PC is completely safe, you can be a beginner and get excellent results. You can correct light swirls and scratches by hand, but that's about it, a PC or high speed polisher is required to do anymore correction.

A light polish to remove the swirls is what you need, depending on how bad the water spots are.
Then I highly recommend Optimum Opti-Seal. I use it on my black Cobra and it's a gift from heaven.
I get everything I need for detailing from www.obsessivedetail.com
Since your car is Black, I would HIGHLY recommend you pick up a Porter Cable buffer. It'll bring out a whole new shine you never knew could exist without a 10k paint job. Plus it'll make removing those water marks and future swirls your black car will LOVE to collect throughout it's lifespan.
