Default Hard Water Spots

I have tinted windows and the car used to sit in the sun in the desert for some time, on the rear hatch there used to be a sticker and now that i took it off there is an outline of the sticker and i cant get it off,and also on the quarter windows there are also some hard water spots that i cant get off. . . is it beacuse the tint??? and does anyone have any suggestions?

You could try using a polish on them or scratchx. It might take a machine though.

Most likely you will have to polish the glass with a machine and an abrassive polish.

i dont know if this is safe on tint, but i think they normally put the film on the inside of the window anyways. but go to the store and get some bon-ami powder (house cleaning product) and then add some water to it to make it a paste and then use a little pressure and rub that on your windows. we used this on the back window of my brothers truck and it worked great, somewhat time consuming, but still worked.

Sounds like the acid rain etched your glass. Sometimes they can be polished out
