Man i need to clean off my tips to. Mostly because of the reason that their is FUC*ING TAR ON THEM lol. Some ******** didnt post a sign out in the country that there was tar on the road that they were fixing. They just put it down and left with no warning, so i went over it not realizing. So now their is tar on my pipes, side skirts, and bumper lol. WHere is a good place to get that blue coral chrome paste, because ive tryed a bug and tar remover and it didnt work very well, soooooo lol.

When using steel wool you really should be using 00, its a nice soft steel wool not that harsh SOS pad crap. It will not tear up or take the shine from anything.

I have the Magnaflow 3.5" tips and I just use a rag and buff then like you would buff the toe of your shoe and they look brand new every time.

Not trying to steal the thread, but, GT_dOc:

To remove tar easily, invest in a can of laquer thinner. The tar will wipe right off of the paint. Be carefull using laquer thinner on stickers, or some unpainted plastics. But, if there is automotive paint on the spot you are working, there is nothing to worry about.
