Default painting silicon

is there a specific kind of paint to use? i want to change the silicon adapters on my cai from blue to black.

im a painter, and i know that if you just put paint on silicon it basically just runs off. so if you really want to paint them i would prob try a flex primer and then paint them with your paint of choice. i have never painted silicon with car paint, like laquer, but this method work well on latex paints.

oh if you can at all try to ruff the silicon up with some fine sandpaper. dont be to aggrersive or you could ruin the entire thing. ruffing up the surface causes for better adhesion.
